Microsoft Windows
Windows is a great OS for desktops and simple servers. We've been using Windows since 3.1 (1992). It has dramatically improved over the years, but it still has its quirks.
Desktop Support
Praetus provides a complete solution for supporting and managing each Windows workstation. Many issues can be solved remotely, but some require an on-site diagnosis. And having an expert available, even when the issue is minor, can give peace of mind.

Windows Server

Voice over IP
For the past 3-4 years we have increasingly seen an uptake of VoIP technology. But until VoIP matured, we resisted the temptation to recommend VoIP to our customers. The telephone system must ALWAYS work and must be one of the most reliable systems. If someone can't make a phone call, or they hear echos, low volume, etc. people get upset.
Two years ago we launched into VoIP with an open source PBX called SipX. SipX is now owned by Nortel, and they offer a commercial version with paid support plans. SipX is used by thousands of companies, and several of them have over 5,000 extensions in use.
We like to pair SipX with Polycom phones and Patton audio gateways. This combination has proven to be a winner for small and medium size deployments (2 - 100 phones).
VoIP can be cheaper and more flexible than traditional phone systems. To implement a conference call system, just open the web control panel and enable that feature. If you need extensions for remote workers using software phones (like Skype), or an office extension at home, then VoIP is the solution.
